BURNABY

By Andrew Jolly

Burnaby is a fictitious location set in the North West of North America in the “Gatenby National Park”.
It is the terminus for several railroads including CP, CN, BC Rail & Alaska Railroad, all of which use RDC’s (Rail Diesel Cars) to bring passengers from various locations to Burnaby so they can connect
onto coaches and have escorted tours of the National Park.

There is also a small amount of freight traffic serving both the nearby  community and the local industries.

This is my first attempt at a DCC layout, so to make it easy I am using the Bachmann E-Z Digital Command Train Control System, which allows me to operate up to 9 ‘chipped’ and one analogue loco at any one time
together with any light or sound functions that they may have.
